Terms and Policies

User Terms

1. Terms of Use

ParkingBuddy (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides payment software that enables users to pay for parking at privately owned lots. We are not the operator, manager, or enforcer of any parking facility. Each property owner sets its own rates, time limits, and enforcement policies.
By submitting payment through our platform, you agree that:
ParkingBuddy’s role is limited to processing transactions on behalf of the property owner.
The property owner is solely responsible for lot conditions, towing, citations, or disputes.
You are responsible for entering correct vehicle and plate information.
Payments are processed on behalf of the property owner and are generally non-refundable.
ParkingBuddy is not liable for property damage, towing, or enforcement actions arising from the use or non-use of its service.

2. Refund Policy

ParkingBuddy does not offer refunds per policy.
If you believe you were charged in error (such as a duplicate payment or technical malfunction), you may contact us for review. Refunds may be issued at our discretion for verified errors.
Contact: support@parkingbuddy.us

3. Plate Data & Privacy

ParkingBuddy collects plate data, payment details, and session times solely to validate parking and display active or expired sessions to the property owner.
Plate data is stored securely and shared only with the property owner or authorized enforcement personnel.
We do not sell or share this information for marketing or unrelated purposes.
You may request deletion of your plate data by emailing support@parkingbuddy.us.
Deletion requests will not affect completed payment records required for accounting or legal compliance.
Payments are processed by Stripe, which handles card information in accordance with its own Privacy Policy.

4. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state and locality where the parking transaction occurred, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from that transaction shall be resolved in the courts located within that same state or locality.
